NeWbOrN PhOtOsHoOt

Oh my... these are the most beautiful girls! I got to help my friend Heidi on another awesome photoshoot. This little newborn was 10 days old ( I think !) and was so sweet, her parents are Heidi's good friends and they were the nicest couple... the dad was such a proud daddy of his little girls it was so cute! She slept almost the whole time and so we were able to get some really fun pictures of her at Heidi's studio and then at the orchard. The sister was so cute.. she totally reminded me of Avery and was quite the little dancer! She turns 8 in November and was such a cute big sister and so polite! Thanks Heidi for inviting me... I love taking pictures and capturing these beautiful babies when they are so new and precious!

Studio Photoshoot

I got to go with Heidi on another really fun photoshoot. She shares a studio with another photographer up in Kaysville, and can I just say I am jealous! I now want a studio in my house so bad! I was so naive to the whole studio setting that I was a little overwhelmed... I have never honestly seen a strobe light that huge ( 7' in diameter ) it was so fun and Heidi of course is always so generous and let me snap a few pictures also... I love natural lighting, but I gotta say... I love the look of the studio lighting too!! Here are a few, unfortunately I didn't have my settings correct when I was taking the pictures of the little boy so I didn't really get any clear shots of him, but had to include one because he is so stinkin' cute!

Jaime's Family

I was excited I got the opportunity to photograph Jaime and her amazing family and I was super excited to take some pictures in Daybreak and by the gorgeous temple. Her and my mom have been friends for several years and taught school together so it was fun getting to meet her kids. I am the WORST with names though and kept calling them all the wrong names ( my kids go through the same thing on a daily basis... I usually go through all 4 kids names before I say the right one! ) and they were so patient with me eventhough I was so embarrassed! We did the photoshoot early in the morning because that was the only time that worked with their busy schedules and so we had a little harder time finding some places where the lighting wasn't too harsh, but I am happy with the way they turned out! My favorites are the one's with the 3 girls and Marcus... they were the last ones we took for the day and it was so early that Marcus had a hard time staying awake for most of them, but I had the girls look at him instead of the camera and finally got him laughing... too funny!!
